We are an independent, co-educational high school in Gymea offering the IB pathway to success starting from Year 7.
The IB programme is growing rapidly across the world, with student numbers doubling every five years.
I am now pleased to make the IB MYP accessible in the St George & Sutherland Shire, as its learning framework prepares young people for future careers and further study.
Please join me on our next school tour to find out more.

The International Baccalaureate (IB) develops enquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people with a global perspective.
It provides a framework of learning that encourages students to become creative, critical and reflective thinkers. Students are not only academically challenged but also personally nurtured preparing them for the future and to become contributors to a global society.
Its focus is on understanding and critical thinking rather than rote memory.
We are offering one Year 7 foundation class for 2019, with capped numbers, to ensure students are fully engaged in their learning. Small class sizes enable teachers to monitor and plan individually for each student, catering to their unique learning needs.
Sydney International Secondary School is just a five-minute walk from Gymea station, situated in a tranquil setting amongst native gums.
